Freshman Peter Ming had two pins en route to placing 7th at the USA Wrestling UWW Junior Nationals.
After dropping his first match to eventual champion, Braxton Amos (Wisconsin RTC), Peter stormed back with a fall over Clay Lautt (Tar Heal Wrestling Club) to secure All American status. The next round Peter lost a hard fought match against Austin Lane (Indiana). In his last match Peter finished strong pinning Deandre Rucker (Spartan Mat Club) in 1:47 to claim 7th place.
